Use the open SQL database and developers kit to add custom functionality and integrate with other management systems. These tools can be used to simplify integration with enterprise management systems or custom applications. The optional Software Developers Kit (SDK) includes:

• IPcentral's database schema
• IPserver SNMP MIB
• Low-level API (Windows DLL) for real-time interaction with the server
• High-level objects (VisualBasic) for real-time interaction with the sever
• Sample source code

Example customer applications for Shadow's SDK include using of IPserver to control network access, service levels, and use metering or billing.
